Michelle Harrington is a Nationally Certified Professional in Mediation for business, family and divorce mediation recognized by the National Association of Certified Mediators. Michelle's unique background includes being a Vice President and Executive Manager with a fortune 500 financial services firm. Her financial services career spanned 15 years and multiple roles. From 2000 to 2007 she managed a $50mm revenue region with multiple locations and over 130 employees. Michelle was primarily responsible for handling litigation matters, compliance and regulatory issues, human resources, facilities management, local training and motivational programs, managing the budget, as well as assisting with staff hiring and terminations, developing local marketing strategies and recruiting. Michelle has vast experience in working with sales representatives & associates, high-level management, regulators, attorney's and other professionals. A great deal of her time was spent in identifying conflicts and potential risks. Her creativity, experience and ability to drill down to the core of an issue have helped her to successfully negotiate hundreds of workplace conflicts as well as participate in successful mediations and arbitrations. In addition, she is skilled in identifying potential risks and anticipating what issues or opportunities may lie within and then developing a game plan to address those issues. One of Michelle's personal beliefs is that you don't necessarily need to work harder, just smarter. Finding a way to complete a task efficiently and effectively is paramount in today's environment.
